Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks Share New Single

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks are gearing up for a big 2014 as the band’s first album in three years, Wig Out At Jagbags, is set for a January 7 release. Malkmus recently spoke with Rolling Stone about the new album telling the mag, “When you do an album, you go down a rabbit hole of you don’t know where you’re going…We got a little more of a 1966, tighten-it-up [thing]. It’s coming out in January, so it’ll be, like, 12 months of domination. Sorry for the other bands.” 
The Jicks head off for a European tour in January and hopefully they’ll play stateside soon there after. Today, the band has shared a lyric video for the first track off the new album.
