St. Paul and The Broken Bones were the musical guests on Thursday’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The Birmingham, Alabama-based octet performed “The Last Dance” from The Alien Coast, a studio album released today.

Paul Janeway and his mates last appeared on the program in 2018, when they covered Louis Armstrong’s “‘Zat You Santa Claus.” The Alien Coast features 11 tracks including lead single “The Last Dance.” The follow-up to 2018’s Young Sick Camellia was recorded in Birmingham with producer Matt Ross-Spang.
