Spafford Gets ‘Sweet’ On ‘Sugarshack Sessions’
Watch the four-piece perform the song written by friend of the band Gary Ukura.

Sugarshack-Sessions continues to roll out video of Spafford’s recent appearance on the live music video series. The latest offering is the four-piece performing a stripped-down rendition of “Sweet,” written by friend of the band Gary Ukura
Sugarshack previously shared Spaff offering an acoustic “Diana” and now follow with “Sweet.” Spafford unveiled the Ukura-penned song at The Miramar Theater in Milwaukee on April 6, 2017, as per Spaffnerds. The song has stayed in regular rotation since save for 2022, when Spafford performed it once at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont on April 20.

Spaff’s acoustic performance on Sugarshack from Bonita Springs, Florida saw guitarist Brian Moss leading the song buoyed by crisp country piano from Cory Schechtman and three-part harmonies between Moss, drummer Nick Tkachyk and bassist Shon Gordon.
