Soccer Mommy (Sophie Allison) shared “Darkness Forever (Sophie’s Version).” Arriving just in time for Allison’s favorite holiday, Halloween, the recording is a demo of “Darkness Forever” off Soccer Mommy’s 2022 album, Sometimes, Forever.
Sometimes, Forever arrived on June 24. Allison noted that creating the demo for “Darkness Forever” inspired her to double down on the rest of the album.
“This version of ‘Darkness Forever’ is really exciting for me because it’s kind of what got me inspired to start working on the rest of the album,” the singer-songwriter said. “It felt new and fresh, and I had a lot of fun making it. When I was done with it, I felt very ready to work on more stuff for the record.”
