Snarky Puppy Postpones Spring Tour Due To Coronavirus

Snarky Puppy‘s spring tour has been postponed due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. The band had been scheduled to begin the run through Europe on March 20 in Germany.

Dates in Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Italy and Greece were originally slated to take place between March 20 and April 8. Snarky Puppy are currently rescheduling the shows for later in 2020 and “should have news” regarding new dates “very soon.” The band asks fans to hold on to their tickets for now as more information is forthcoming from the ticket agencies.

Snarky Puppy’s Michael League penned the following note about the decision:

To our friends in Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Greece, it is with great regret that we have to postpone our spring tour due to national regulations put on large gatherings of people as a result of the coronavirus. We were really excited about this tour (myself especially as I was planning to visit my family’s hometown in Greece for the first time in my life), but of course safety comes first, and we respect the decisions these governments have made. We are already in the process of rescheduling these shows for later in the year and we should have news for this very soon. For those of you who bought tickets, please hold on to them for now and the ticket agents will contact you once there is more information to share.
