Slightly Stoopid Announces Return Of The Red Eye Summer Tour

San Diego’s own Slightly Stoopid has announced details of this year’s Summer Tour. The Red Eye Summer Tour, the band’s 9th coast-to-coast summertime outing, visits amphitheaters and pavilions throughout North America with SOJA announced as direct support for most dates. In addition, Zion I, The Grouch & Eligh and Fortunate Youth will also perform at select dates.

Slightly Stoopid and friends kick off the tour at Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington on June 15. All the told, the tour will visit over 33 cities with more dates to be announced soon. The band is expected to play tracks from their latest release, Meanwhile…Back At The Lab plus cuts from albums released over the group’s two-decade-plus career. Highlights of the lengthy tour include a hometown show at San Diego’s Sleep Train Amphitheatre (July 9), a stop in Orange County, California as part of the last season ever at the historic Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (June 25), a Northeast swing that features a performance at Saranac Brewery in Utica, New York (July 22), a return to the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey (August 19) and what is currently scheduled to be the tour closer at The Fillmore in Detroit (August 28).

A pre-sale is underway for fan club members with general on-sales set to begin Friday, February 26 at 10 a.m. local time for most dates.
