Sleater-Kinney Releases ‘Method’ Single

Sleater-Kinney previewed their new album Path Of Wellness by sharing the single “Method” along with an accompanying lyric video. Path Of Wellness is due out this Friday, June 11 via Mom+Pop.
“The song is a scrappy plea for tenderness, a grasp at vulnerability in times that require toughness and armor,” noted a press release regarding “Method.” Sleater-Kinney, which consists of Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein, self-produced the 11-track LP. The pair were joined by local musicians to record the album last year at a studio in their hometown of Portland, Oregon.

Sleater-Kinney previously released singles “Worry With You” and “High In The Grass” from the follow-up to 2019’s The Center Won’t Hold, an album produced by St. Vincent that marked the group’s last with longtime drummer Janet Weiss. The group will embark on a co-headlining tour with Wilco in August.
Tucker and Brownstein tapped Lance Bangs to direct the “Method” video. Check it out below:
