By Jeffrey Greenblatt Oct 2, 2018 10:32 am PDT

After a four-plus year layoff Sharon Van Etten will release Remind Me Tomorrow on January 18 via her longtime label Jagjaguwar. The long-awaited follow-up to 2014’s critically-acclaimed Are We There was recorded at studios throughout Los Angeles and produced by John Congleton.

In the years between releases, Van Etten went back to school, had a child, guest-starred in the Netflix series The OA and scored music for the movie Strange Weather as well as the closing title song for comedian Tig Notaro’s show Tig. In addition to sharing the record’s first single “Comeback Kid,” the singer-songwriter has launched the website remindmetomorrow.com, a site where fans can subscribe to a calendar that features early access to news, new music, tour dates and more.
