INCLUDING GUEST APPEARANCE FROM CR GRUVER
While many Spreadnecks speculated that New Orleans institution and longtime Panic collaborators Dirty Dozen Brass Band would sit in with the band, since their set came just before Widespread Panic took the stage, a DDBB guest spot never materialized. However, John Bell and Co. invited keyboardist CR Gruver of The New Orleans Suspects out for “Stop Breakin’ Down Blues.” The sun finally emerged late in the set, which made “You Should Be Glad” even more meaningful.
Here’s yesterday’s Widespread Panic setlist from New Orleans.
