We have a trashy reality show about Gene Simmons but the more interesting series might revolve around Ace Frehley, a man who’s had more ins & outs with KISS than Simmons’ (supposedly) 1000+ lovers. The bastard child of Mick Ronson and the New York Dolls was born on this day in 1951. Lift your lighters to KISS’ greatest lead guitarist and a riff monster of the first order.
We begin with Ace at his brutish, glam-punk best doing “I Stole Your Love” in KISS’ stadium glory days.
