Ryan Stasik Appears On ‘Apparently This Matters’

Bassist Ryan Stasik of Umphrey’s McGee is the latest musician to be featured on the Apparently This Matters video interview series. The jam-scene veteran discussed a handful of topics during his 13-minute chat with host Jarrett Bellini backstage at The Tabernacle in Atlanta earlier this year.

Stasik talks about how he stopped drinking so he can be more present and alert when he’s at home, among other reasons. He also discusses the role luck played in his career, his studies at Notre Dame, the brotherhood of Umphrey’s McGee, his childhood move from Pittsburgh to Kalamazoo and more.
