Ryan Adams Writes Song For Colorado Radio Station

Earlier today, a Colorado radio station premiered a new song from singer-songwriter Ryan Adams. The independent radio station 105.5 FM that aired the track is best known by its nickname “The Colorado Sound.” Adams honored the Timnath, Colorado-based station by penning “105.5 The Colorado Sound,” a jingle of sorts.

The song includes shout-outs for 105.5 DJs Margot and Benji as well as the “Downtown Artery” in Fort Collins. Adams channels such ’80s rock hits as “Run To You” by Bryan Adams and Foreigner’s “Urgent” within the catchy tune.

Over the past few months, Ryan has shared updates from the studio on his social feeds as he works on the follow-up to 2017’s Prisoner. One such update noted Adams has “11 songs tracked and vocals done.” As for now, there’s still no word on just when the album will be released.

Ryan may have a chance to visit the studios of 105.5 FM soon. Adams will headline Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado on June 14.

Head to the radio station’s website to stream the new song.
