Rooster Walk 11 will be held at Pop’s Farm in Martinsville, Virginia May 23 – 26, 2019. Organizers of the long-running music festival hosted the debut performance of King & Strings featuring Marcus King & Billy Strings earlier this year and added the collaboration to its 2019 lineup.

Billy and Marcus were joined by drummer Jeff Sipe of Aquarium Rescue Unit fame as well as Strings’ band featuring bassist Royal Masat, banjo player Billy Failing and mandolinist Jarrod Walker for the first-ever King & Strings set back in May. The format for the second installment has yet to be revealed. King & Strings join a lineup that already included Billy, Shovels & Rope, Mountain Heart, Yarn, Kendall Street Company, State Birds and C2 & The Brothers Reed. Look for approximately 40 additional acts to be added in the months to come. Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite.
