The Rolling Stones Expand 2024 North American Tour

The Rolling Stones tacked on two additional tour dates to their 2024 North American Tour. The famed rock band confirmed second and final shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 26 and at Chicago’s Soldier Field on June 30.

The 16-city excursion comes in support of The Rolling Stones’ recently released Hackney Diamonds album. Core members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will be accompanied by keyboardists Chuck Leavell and Matt Clifford, bassist Daryl Jones, drummer Steve Jordan, vocalist Chanelle Haynes and saxophonists Karl Denson and Tim Ries.

The Rolling Stones kick off their 2024 tour in Houston on April 28 before headlining New Orleans Jazz Fest on May 2. Other stops include Glendale, Arizona; Las Vegas; Seattle; Foxboro, Massachusetts; Orlando; Atlanta; Philadelphia; Cleveland; Denver; Vancouver; Los Angeles and the tour closer in Santa Clara, California on July 17. The previously announced shows in East Rutherford and Chicago are scheduled for May 23 and June 27 respectively.

Tickets to The Rolling Stones 2024 North American Tour, including the second shows in East Rutherford and Chicago, go on sale to the general public tomorrow, Friday, December 1 at 10 a.m. local time.

In other Rolling Stones news, the band will release Hackney Diamonds (Live Edition) on January 19, 2024. The 2CD set consists of the original album along with a recording of The Rolling Stones' surprise set at New York City club Racket played on October 19, 2023. Lady Gaga accompanied the group on “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven,” one of four Hackney Diamonds songs debuted live during the 30-minute set. The seven-song performance also included performances of “Shattered,” “Tumbling Dice” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.”
