Yesterday we shared the tragic news that fashion designer L’Wren Scott reportedly committed suicide at her NYC apartment. Scott’s longtime companion, Mick Jagger, was supposed to perform with The Rolling Stones tomorrow night in Perth, Australia. This morning the concert’s promoters have announced that the show “will not be going ahead as scheduled.”

The short statement announcing that Wednesday’s performance won’t take place adds, “No further information is available at this time, ticket holders are asked to hold on to their tickets until a further update is available.” There’s no word about whether the band’s other Australian dates will go on as planned. Yesterday, the New York Post report that Scott and Jagger split before L’Wren’s death. A statement issued by the Stones reads, “The story in the New York Post re a split between Mick Jagger and L’Wren Scott is 100 % untrue. There is absolutely no basis in fact to this story. It is a horrible and inaccurate piece of gossip during this very tragic time for Mick.”
