Rodrigo y Gabriela Release ‘Gamma State’ Single On Streaming Services

Rodrigo y Gabriela‘s single “Gamma State” is available to stream on all digital services. The track comes from the duo’s sessions for their 2019 album, Mettavolution.

Mettavolution arrived in April 2019 and earned Rodrigo y Gabriela their first Grammy (Best Contemporary Instrumental Album) at the 2020 awards. The LP — an exploration of Rodrigo Sánchez and Gabriela Quintero’s interest in Buddhist philosophies — featured the singles “Terracentric”, a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Echoes” and the title track.

While not appearing on Mettavolution, “Gamma State” originates from the same sessions and was first released as an Amazon Music exclusive back in October but is now available across all streaming platforms. Listen to it below:
