Rodrigo y Gabriela Detail ‘By Request’ US Fall Tour 2021

Rodrigo y Gabriela announced U.S. Fall 2021 tour dates. The Grammy-winning guitar duo’s By Request Tour kicks off in Colorado in September and will wrap up in the Midwest later this fall.

Rodrigo y Gabriela’s By Request Tour sees Rodrigo Sánchez and Gabriela Quintero handing song selection over to their fans. The duo has posted a career-spanning list of songs on their website and social media platforms giving fans the opportunity to vote on what they want to hear.

“On the Mettavolution tour in 2019, we played the whole of that album,” Rodrigo Sánchez said in a statement. “Here we are, two years later, and we have decided to let the fans choose what songs they want to hear from us on the ‘By Request’ tour.”

“We are so excited to be getting back out on the road again,” Gabriela Quintero added. “The ‘By Request’ tour puts the setlist in the hands of the fans. We can’t wait to see what songs they pick.”

Rodrigo y Gabriela’s By Request Tour, which will see support from David Keenan and Silvana Estrada on select dates, gets underway at Boulder, Colorado’s picturesque Chautauqua Auditorium on September 1 followed by two more Colorado dates before hitting the West Coast beginning with a stop in the Portland area followed by a four-night run through California including, Napa, Sacramento, the Los Angeles area and San Diego. The duo will wrap up September in Texas with concerts in Austin and San Antonio.

October 1 will see Rodrigo y Gabriela in Atlanta before a run through the south with stops in the Carolinas en route to Washington D.C. The duo will continue up through the Northeast with plays n New York City, Boston and Pennsylvania. The penultimate show of the run will take place in Chicago before Rodrigo y Gabriela close out the By Request Tour in Minneapolis on October 16.
