Rod Stewart And Ron Wood Earmark 2015 For Faces Reunion

We’ve heard this story before –Rod Stewart claiming a The Faces reunion will happen, but for some reason this time around we believe him. According to Rolling Stone Stewart told a Boston radio station that both he and guitarist Ronnie Wood have “earmarked 2015” for a Faces reunion.

The Faces were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012, where Wood, keyboardist Ian McLagan and drummer Kenney Jones, augmented by Rod Stewart bassist Conrad Korsch and Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall performed. Rolling Stone see a lineup of Stewart, Wood, McLagan, Jones and Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock for the potential reunion. Original Faces bassist Ronnie Lane died in 1997.
