RockyGrass Festival Announces Initial 2016 Lineup

One of the nation’s oldest festival, RockyGrass will return for its 44th installment next summer. Planet Bluegrass in Lyons, Colorado will host the festival July 29 – 31. Today, festival organizers have announced the initial lineup for RockyGrass ’16.

Friday at RockyGrass ’16 will feature Steep Canyon Rangers, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas & Edgar Meyer, Tim O’Brien and more. Sam Bush Bluegrass Band, Bela Fleck & Abigal Washburn and the Tony Trischka Band are among the acts set to play Saturday at RockyGrass ’16. Sunday’s lineup includes Punch Brothers, Peter Rowan Band and Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, among others. Watch for several more artist announcements in the coming months.

While tickets went on sale last week, a limited number of Friday and Sunday single- day tickets are currently available via Shop Bluegrass.
