“These remarkable Nominees have each created their own musical style and attitude, impacting generations of music lovers and contributing to the ever-evolving sounds and continued growth of rock ‘n’ roll,” said John Sykes, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation chairman.
In addition to ballots sent to over 1,200 international voting panel members, a fan vote is currently underway.
The class of 2025 Rock & Roll Hall Of Inductees will be revealed in April, along with inductees for Musical Influence, Musical Excellence and the Ahmet Ertegun Non-Performer Award recipient. The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held in the fall in Los Angeles.
Phish’s first nomination follows their performance at the 2010 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio gave the speech inducting Genesis into the Rock Hall and the band honored Genesis with performances of “Watcher Of The Skies” and “No Reply At All.”
