Robert Randolph & The Family Band shared “Simple Man,” the latest single from their forthcoming new album, Brighter Days. Provogue Records will release the LP on August 23.

Dave Cobb produced Brighter Days, which features steel guitarist Robert Randolph singing lead on nine of the record’s 10 tracks. Randolph detailed “Simple Man,” stating:

This song was great to record in this funky groovy way with the band! Pop Staples and The Staples Singers have always been a big influence on me. They come from a church background and have written so many inspirational songs that have become anthems in every household which helped the world grow in so many ways!
