Robert Randolph Releases ‘Baptise Me’ Video

Robert Randolph & The Family Band shared a video for their new track, “Baptise Me.” It’s the third single off their upcoming album, Brighter Days, which arrives on August 23 via Provogue Records.

Shot in Nashville, J.T. Ibanez directed the video. Randolph spoke a little bit about the new track in a statement:

We sat down to write and started talking about the blues, my roots of growing up in Church, and all the pressures of trying to be a good man. Two hours later we had a groovy little tune called ‘Baptise Me’. We hope everyone feels inspired to know there’s always room for change and growth on the inside.

The sacred steel ace worked with legendary producer Dave Cobb on Brighter Days. Cobb is famed for his vocal work and helped to bring out Randolph’s singing abilities as well as his masterful pedal steel playing. Randolph sings lead on nine of the 10 tracks on Brighter Days including “Baptise Me.” Check out the video below:
