Riot Fest Chicago Announces Initial 2017 Lineup

The 2017 installment of Chicago’s Riot Fest will be held in Douglas Park September 15 – 17. Organizers of the festival have just revealed the first wave of acts set to play The Windy City event this September.

Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age and Jawbreaker have been tapped to headline. Punk act Jawbreaker broke up and last performed in 1996. New Order, Prophets Of Rage, M.I.A., Wu-Tang Clan, Gogol Bordello, TV On The Radio, Dinosaur Jr. and Built To Spill are also among the acts set to play Riot Fest ’17. The full first wave of over 70 artists announced today can be viewed below. More than 25 additional bands will be revealed in May, while organizers will detail select artists who will be performing their seminal album for the festival later this week.
