Reyna Tropical Details Summer 2024 North American Headline Tour Dates

Reyna Tropical — the project of guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer Fabi Reyna — announced a North American headline tour. The summer run consisting of eight shows follows the band’s time on the road in May supporting Portugal. The Man.

The tour was confirmed just days after Reyna Tropical’s highly anticipated debut album, Malegría, was released last Friday via Sylvan Esso‘s Psychic Hotline imprint. The 20-track album mixes the influences of Congolese, Peruvian, and Colombian rhythms. Fabi Reyna formed Reyna Tropical with Nectali “Sumohair” Diaz in 2016. Fabi Reyna has continued on with Reyna Tropical as a solo project after the tragic death of Diaz in 2022.

Reyna Tropical kicks off the headlining excursion on the West Coast with shows in San Francisco on July 11, Portland on July 12 and Seattle on July 13. The tour continues in Toronto on July 24 and Kingston (New York) on July 26 ahead of an appearance at the Newport Folk Festival on July 27. Stops in Philadelphia on July 30, Washington D.C. on July 31 and Brooklyn on August 2 bring the trek to a close.
