Release Day Picks 2017 Spotify Playlist

Since January, the weekly JamBase Release Day Picks column has highlighted 199 albums that have been issued over the course of 2017. This edition of Saturday Stream compiles all of the available releases into a massive Spotify Playlist of picks from throughout the year.

Fridays in 2017 have produced many outstanding albums by musicians from across genres and generations. The recent Grammy-nominated Laws Of Gravity album by The Infamous Stringdusters kicks off the playlist, while the Jim James and Chris Thile albums issued yesterday close things out.

In between there are standout records by the likes of legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, Roger Waters, David Crosby, Ringo Starr, Mickey Hart, Ray Davies, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robert Plant, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Mavis Staples and others.
