SiriusXM shared audio of Real Estate covering the Goo Goo Dolls. The Brooklyn based rockers chose Goo Goo Dolls’ 1995 hit, “Name,” to include in their satellite radio performance.
“Name” appears on Goo Goo Dolls’ 1995 album, A Boy Named Goo. While the record arrived in March of 1995, “Name” came out as a single in September of ‘95 and became the band’s first major hit with A Boy Named Goo achieving double-platinum certification. “Name” is known for utilizing an unusual guitar tuning and Real Estate (unusual tuning or not) stays fairly true to the original.
