RAYE Returns With Sophomore Album ‘This Music May Contain Hope.’

Raye will issue her sophomore album, This Music May Contain Hope., on March 27 through Human Re Sources. The British singer-songwriter kicked off her This Tour May Contain New Music arena run last night at Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland, and the performance made good on the tour’s billing.

This Music May Contain Hope. follows RAYE’s acclaimed 2023 debut album, My 21st Century Blues. The upcoming second full length record contains 17 tracks, with the previously shared single, “Where Is My Husband!,” the only currently confirmed title.

Reflecting on This Music May Contain Hope., RAYE stated:

“Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”

According to Setlist.fm, RAYE debuted several unreleased new songs before the sold-out audience at Atlas Arena in Łódź. RAYE also performed “Where Is My Husband!,” alongside other selections from her debut album, a smattering of covers and collaborative tracks.

The sold-out 51-date This Tour May Contain New Music, featuring support from RAYE’s sisters Absolutely and Amma, continues across Europe before a North American leg commences on March 31. RAYE will also support Bruno Mars for part of his The Romantic Tour this summer.
