Rapsody Dials Up ‘3:AM’ & ‘Green Eyes’ Medley With Erykah Badu On ‘Fallon’
The pair performed their Please Don’t Cry collaboration.

Rapper Rapsody was the musical guest on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Vocalist Erykah Badu joined the performance which featured their recent collaboration “3:AM.”
Badu appeared on the studio version of “3:AM,” which was released on Rapsody’s 2024 album, Please Don’t Cry. Along with Badu, Please Don’t Cry included contributions by Lil Wayne, Alex Isley, Bibi Bourelly, Keznamdi, Nicole Bus, Niko Brim, Baby Tate, Amber Navran, Hit-Boy, Bee-B, Dixson, and others.

Rapsody began her Tonight Show showcase with Badu assisting on “3:AM.” A segue into a portion of “Green Eyes” from Badu’s acclaimed 2000 album, Mama’s Gun concluded the collaborative TV performance. Members of The Roots, including keyboardist James Poyser – who co-produced Mama’s Gun and co-wrote “Green Eyes” – backed the pair.
