Pro-Shot Videos: Umphrey’s McGee & moe. Star In New ‘Summer Camp Sessions’ Installments

This weekend, the Summer Camp Music Festival returns to Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. Organizers of the event recently unveiled ninth and tenth installments of their Summer Camp Sessions video series filmed at last year’s festival featuring traditional headliners Umphrey’s McGee and moe. respectively.

The ninth episode of Summer Camp Sessions contains Umphrey’s McGee’s encore from the Sunshine Stage on May 26, 2017. UM served up a pair of Pink Floyd covers from The Wall following their two-set performance. Up first is “In The Flesh?” sung by keyboardist Joel Cummins before guitarist Jake Cinninger leads his mates on “Another Brick In The Wall.” Watch Summer Camp Sessions Vol. 9:

For the tenth and most recent episode of the series, moe. are joined by members of Turkuaz for “Happy Hour Hero” on May 27, 2017. Tenor saxophonist Greg Sanderson, trumpeter Chris Brouwers and baritone saxophonist Josh Schwartz as well as guitarist Craig Brodhead all add to a phenomenal version of the moe. original, which took place on the Moonshine Stage. As with all prior videos in the series, the new clips were directed by Jay Blakesberg and edited by AJ Feigl. moe. and Umphrey’s McGee will each play three days at this year’s festival. Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, Diplo, Slightly Stoopid, Greensky Bluegrass, STS9, Keller Williams, Kyle Hollingsworth and Leftover Salmon are just a few of the dozens of acts that will also perform at Summer Camp ’18.
