Pro-Shot Video: Widespread Panic Shares Footage Of Jason Isbell Sit-In From Raleigh

Back in April, Widespread Panic brought their Spring Tour to Raleigh, North Carolina. The performance at Walnut Creek Amphitheater featured a sit-in by singer-songwriter Jason Isbell on a cover of J.J. Cale’s “Ride Me High” – official video of which has been shared by WSP.

Serving as the evening’s opening act back on April 30, Isbell reemerged part of the way into Panic’s second set to add guitar to the end of “Cease Fire,” before segueing into the often played Cale cover. The ensuing jam stretches out as Isbell and guitarist Jimmy Herring trade off solos. Watch the 15+ minute collaboration below:
