On October 30 Widespread Panic presented their annual Halloween show at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. Today the band has unveiled video of the first of two encores they ended the night with at the final show of their Fall Tour.
Widespread Panic had a pair of huge bust outs in store for the first encore on the 30th. Up first was a take on The Doors’ “Soul Kitchen,” a song they hadn’t performed since October 28, 2000. Then they ended a trend of including a Black Sabbath cover within every encore in October by dusting off “Paranoid” for the first time since October 31, 1987 – an unbelievable span of 2,811 shows.
