Pro-Shot Video: Umphrey’s McGee Shares Bonnaroo 2017 Late Night Set

Not only did jam-rockers Umphrey’s McGee make their ninth appearance at Bonnaroo during last month’s installment of the long-running festival, but the band also played a bonus set. When Simon Posford ran into visa issues, UM stepped up to play a late night performance. Today, the sextet has shared professionally-shot video of their late night set at Bonnaroo 2017.
Umphrey’s began their set with the instrumental intro “Bathing Digits” ahead of an expansive “1348.” Up next was the funky “Bad Friday.” The rest of the set was a huge “Bridgeless” sandwich that contained “Day Nurse,” “Booth Love,” “Frankie Zombie” and “Higgins” within. “Frankie Zombie” is a mashup featuring portions of “Thunder Kiss ’65” by White Zombie along with Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s “Relax” and “Have A Cigar” by Pink Floyd. The sextet then returned for a “The Floor” encore.
