Legendary rockers The Who will issue Tommy Live At The Royal Albert Hall as an audio and video release this Friday, October 13. The band has shared a preview of the set via footage of their performance of “Pinball Wizard.”
Earlier this year The Who staged a pair of shows at The Royal Albert Hall that featured the band’s first complete performances of their rock opera Tommy in nearly 28 years. First released as the group’s 1969 album, Tommy had not been played in full by The Who since 1989.
Eagle Rock Entertainment will issue Tommy Live At The Royal Albert Hall on Friday in a variety of formats including DVD, Blu-ray, two-CD, three-LP, digital video and digital audio. Watch their April 1 rendition of “Pinball Wizard” below:
