Pro-Shot Video: moe. Crew Pranks Band On April Fool’s Day

Jam stalwarts moe. brought their Spring Tour to The Paramount in Huntington, New York on April Fool’s Day earlier this year. The band was pranked by their crew to start the evening’s second set and today moe. has unveiled video of the stunt.

moe. came out for the second set and were about to launch into “Rainshine” when a person dressed in a monkey suit stepped onto a box set up between the drums and percussion rigs. Audio of an EDM-flavored “Plane Crash” mixed with the Beastie Boys’ “Brass Monkey” played over the p.a. as the monkey danced along. You can spot looks of confusion and amusement on the members of moe.’s faces leading up to the monkey dropping his mic and heading off stage.
