Pro-Shot Video: La Luz KEXP Full Performance

Los Angeles-based La Luz released their third album Floating Features earlier this year on Hardly Arts. The quartet returned to their former home of Seattle to play songs from the record live at KEXP studios.
Vocalist/guitarist Shana Cleveland, keyboardist Alice Sandahl, bassist Lena Simon and drummer Marian Li Pino recorded the 11-track Floating Features in their new hometown of Los Angeles. The follow-up to 2015’s Ty Segall-produced Weirdo Shrine was recorded with producer Dan Auerbach at his Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville.
The quartet will resume touring in support of the album with a run of European dates starting in September. Watch the surf doo-wop group’s performance of the Floating Features tracks “Cicada,” “Mean Dream,” “Floating Features” and “California Finally” live at KEXP below:
