Pro-Shot Video: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Debut ‘Shelter From The Storm’ Cover

By Scott Bernstein Sep 18, 2017 10:33 am PDT

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead were scheduled to play their first ever headlining concert at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on April 29 when mother nature had other ideas. The threat of storms led the band and organizers to move the concert indoors to Broomfield’s 1st Bank Center. Earlier today the five-piece unveiled this week’s Rad Tracks featuring the inventive way they opened the concert in Broomfield.

Almost Dead kicked off the show at the 1st Bank Center with their first ever cover of Bob Dylan’s “Shelter From The Storm,” a fitting song considering the situation. Guitarist Tom Hamilton handled lead vocals on the cover debut as well as the “Bertha” that followed. Check out our full report from that memorable evening.
