Early last month Warren Haynes hosted this year’s Mountain Jam Music Festival at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY. Gov’t Mule headlined on Saturday night and included in their set was a cover of “Opium” by moe., which also featured special guest Bill Evans on saxophone. 
Mule debuted their version of “Opium” back in 2012 and we think the song fits Haynes and Co. perfectly. Judge for yourself, as Mountain Jam organizers have just posted a professionally-shot clip of the cover to their YouTube Page.
