One week ago today Reed Mathis and Electric Beethoven kicked off the action ahead of Pink Talking Fish’s guest-filled Stops Making Sense concept show at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. The venue has unveiled pro-shot video featuring a portion of EB’s opening set at The Cap.
Electric Beethoven finds bassist Reed Mathis joined by guitarist Clay Welch, drummer Jay Lane and keyboardist Todd Stoops. The quartet uses Beethoven’s symphonies as a platform to improvisation. In the clip below, we watch as Electric Beethoven presents a piece based on Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony:
