Pro-Shot Video: The Disco Biscuits Share ‘Mindless Dribble’ From Philadelphia

Back in February, The Fillmore Philadelphia hosted jamtronica pioneers The Disco Biscuits for a series of three hometown shows. The Biscuits have been rolling out professionally-shot video from the run and the latest clip showcases an improvisational highlight from the final show.

On February 4, the Disco Biscuits began their second set with an adventurous version of “Mindless Dribble.” The quartet explored plenty of terrain over the course of nearly 30 minutes before they moved on to “Crickets.” Guitarist Jon Gutwillig and keyboardist Aron Magner star on “Dribble” which showed off the more rock and jam side of the band’s music than the electronic and untz elements. The rhythm section of bassist Marc Brownstein and drummer Allen Aucoin helped anchor the improv and provided a steady base off of which Manger and Gutwillig worked.
