Pro-Shot Video: The Disco Biscuits Debut ‘Miracles’ In Denver
By Scott Bernstein Jun 2, 2017 • 8:32 am PDT

Jamtronica quartet The Disco Biscuits continued a four night run in Colorado in front of a capacity crowd at the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Thursday. Bassist Marc Brownstein hinted in a recent interview that the Biscuits would debut “Miracles,” an original composition he had previously played with Electron, and the foursome did indeed unveil their version of the tune in Denver.
“Miracles” came within a first set that was one huge “Little Shimmy In A Conga Line” sequence. The Disco Biscuits didn’t stop at any point as they connected “Little Shimmy” with “Miracles,” “Gangster,” “Overture” and “Cyclone.” Last night’s second set began with “Sister Judy’s Soul Shack” ahead of a lengthy “Nughuffer” sequence that included “Orch Theme” and the middle of “Aceetobee” within. The quartet also worked a tease of “Bad Touch” by Bloodhound Gang into “Orch Theme.”
The Disco Biscuits brought Thursday’s second set to a close with “House Dog Party Favor” and said farewell with a “42” encore. On Friday night, the band will conclude a series of three shows at the Ogden ahead of Saturday’s Red Rocks finale. Head to tDB’s YouTube channel for free live streams.
