Pro-Shot Video: Chris Thile Teams With Bon Iver On ‘The Chris Thile Show’

As reported, an installment of the newly renamed The Chris Thile Show (formerly known as A Prairie Home Companion) was recorded this past Saturday at The Town Hall in New York City. Host Chris Thile was joined on the public radio program by a number of guests including Bon Iver and Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn. Pro-shot video featuring a performance from Thile and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon has just been posted.

Thile couldn’t contain his excitement to perform Bon Iver’s “29 #Strafford APTS.” Chris, Justin and Richard Dworsky & The Show Band treated fans to a gorgeous rendition of the track from Bon Iver’s 2016 album 22, A Million. Chris seemed in heaven, while Vernon rebounded from an early flub to pull off the impeccably-crafted tune. Head here for more from Saturday night.
