Pixie & The Partygrass Boys Let It Burn ‘Into Nothing’ On New Single

Salt Lake City outfit Pixie & The Partygrass Boys shared a new single, “Into Nothing.” The track is set to land on the band’s upcoming self-titled album, arriving on November 8 via Americana Vibes.
Pixie & The Partygrass Boys follows the band’s 2023 covers album, The Chicken Coop Vol. 1 and 2021 record Snake Creek. The SLC group began the new album rollout with the single “Wild and Free” and now follow with “Into Nothing.”

“Into Nothing” traces the arc of emotions in the breakup process. Pixie and The Partygrass Boys’ vocalist Katia “Pixie” Racine described the song as “the angriest break-up song I’ve ever written, inspired by the healthiest break-up I’ve ever had.”
She continued: “Sometimes you just have to get it out, everything you really wanted to say to them on the phone, but nooo, you’ve been to too much therapy and had to be all conscious of emotional regulation and try to practice healthy communication skills blah blah blah…”
