Baltimore’s Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will play a pair of concerts in Washington D.C. this December. The “hometown throwdown” includes the band’s debut at The Anthem.
Up first is a performance at the 9:30 Club on December 6 featuring support from lespecial. Then, PPPP play The Anthem for the first time on December 7. Here Come the Mummies open for Pigeons at The Anthem.
“To say we’re excited to make our debut at The Anthem would be a huge understatement,” said Pigeons Playing Ping Pong frontman, Greg Ormont. “We’ve been working our way up the ladder in DC for years, starting in the smallest of venues and loving every step of the process. We’ll be thinking about all of those DC memories when we headline our biggest show to date at The Anthem this December.”
Tickets for the 9:30 Club show are only available as part of two-night passes for the run and will not be sold separately. A pre-sale for tickets is slated for Wednesday, August 28 at 10 a.m. ET using the code “PIGEONS” via Ticketmaster. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Thursday, August 29 at 10 a.m. ET.
