Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will end 2019 in Asheville. The Baltimore-based jam quartet will play the intimate Orange Peel on December 30 before heading to the ExploreAsheville.com Arena on New Year’s Eve.

The group’s concert at the U.S. Cellular Center will be there first time headlining an arena. TAUK will serve as opener on December 31. Pigeons revealed this year’s theme will be “The Electric Kool-Aid Asheville Test.”

“It’s become a band tradition to go big for our New Year’s Eve runs, and this year’s themed celebration promises to be our craziest one yet with The Electric Kool-Aid Asheville Test,” stated PPPP’s Greg Ormont. “We’re busting out all the stops for our first-ever arena show. All I can say is, expect the unexpected. Can you pass the Asheville test?”

Tickets for The Orange Peel are only available as part of two-day passes and will not be sold individually. A pre-sale begins on Wednesday, August 28 at 10 a.m. ET using the code “PIGEONS”. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Thursday, August 29 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
