John Prine Family Announces ‘Picture Show: A Tribute Celebrating John Prine’

John Prine‘s family and Oh Boy Records will present Picture Show: A Tribute Celebrating John Prine at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on Thursday, June 11 via the late artist’s YouTube and Facebook pages. The online celebration of Prine will feature musicians, actors and family members honoring the Maywood, Illinois native.

The acclaimed singer-songwriter died on April 7 in Nashville due to complications stemming from COVID-19. Both the Prine Family and Oh Boy Records — John’s own label — will produce Picture Show. Expect musical performances to be played and stories to be shared. Proceeds will go towards several charitable organizations including NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) and Alive.
