On Sunday night Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California hosted the debut of , a new project led by guitarist Steve Kimock featuring drummer John Kimock, bassist Bobby Vega and vocalist Leslie Mendelson. K I M O C K will issue their first studio effort, Last Danger of Frost, on March 18. The band’s two-set performance included a guest appearance from Steve’s RatDog band mate Bob Weir on both “Maggie’s Farm” and “Fingernail Boogie” as per Deadheadland. The guitarist welcomed another son, Skyler Kimock, to lead a tribute to David Bowie, who passed away one week prior.
