Phosphorescent Covers Nick Lowe’s ‘I’m A Mess’

Matthew Houck continues to focus his Phosphorescent efforts on The Full Moon Project. Houck will put out a new cover with each full moon and this month he took on “I’m A Mess” by Nick Lowe.

Lowe originally released the song in which he mocks himself on the 2001 studio album The Convincer. Matthew Houck discussed The Convincer and revealed he was working on an “I’m A Mess” cover during a conversation with Nick Lowe featured on a 2021 episode of the Talkhouse Podcast.
