[UPDATED] Phoenix Confirms New Album ‘Ti Amo’

This past weekend, French rockers Phoenix debuted a pair of brand new songs while making their return to the live concert stage after almost three years. The band has now confirmed a new album Ti Amo which will be released via Glassnote on June 9.

Phoenix performed a new song titled “Ti Amo” during their show Saturday in Antwerp, Belgium. According to an interview with The New York Times, the also newly unveiled song “J-Boy” serves as the lead track on Ti Amo. The band discussed the process of recording the follow-up to 2013’s Bankrupt!, which began in 2014 when they took over the top floor of a renovated multi-functioning opera house in Paris that’s home to offices, a museum and concert hall.
