Phoebe Bridgers Performs NPR Music ‘Tiny Desk (Home) Concert’

By Nate Todd Sep 10, 2020 12:05 pm PDT

Phoebe Bridgers performed for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. The singer-songwriter and guitarist delivered three songs from her 2020 album, Punisher.

Artists have been getting more and more creative with their Tiny Desk (Home) Concerts of late (Billie Eilish recently delivered hers in front of a cardboard cut out of Bob Boilen’s desk). Bridgers used the magic of green screen to project her performance into the Oval Office.

Backed by Harrison Whitford on guitar and Marshall Vore on drums, Phoebe kicked off her session with “Kyoto” — a song about her first trip to Japan — followed by “Moon Song.” Bridgers got her fans involved via the wonder of technology for the fitting finale of “I Know The End.”
