Phoebe Bridgers Releases ‘Garden Song’ Video

After nearly three years since the release of her debut solo album, Phoebe Bridgers has put out new solo material. Bridgers issued “Garden Song” a new Dead Oceans single accompanied by a video directed by Jackson Bridgers, Phoebe’s brother.

Phoebe recorded “Garden Song” at the legendary Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California. She co-produced the track with Tony Berg and Ethan Grushka, who each contributed to her 2017 debut studio album — Stranger In The Alps. Bridgers now puts the focus back on her solo career after stints in boygenius and Better Oblivion Community Center. Phoebe will soon embark on an extensive tour which includes runs supporting The National and The 1975.

When Phoebe asked Jackson to direct the video, she told him she wanted the clip to start with her taking a rip off a bong and then he should surprise her with what comes next. Watch the “Garden Song” video below:
